Welcome to the site. We’re so glad you’re here. Below you’ll find a “quick-start guide” with links to help you jump in and get to know the members and how to use this site to connect, learn and collaborarate.


Here is how you can benefit from this site

Ideas Picture

Discussions

Discussions gives you the capability to search for specific topics of interest or view all the conversations. The "Home" and "Discussions" areas both have the "New", "Trending", and "Following" options to help you narrow your search.

These are the current discussion forums, so you know where to go. Feel free to message NuTrelle Toodle at StateofHope@dhs.ga.gov to suggest a new topic.

  • Open Discussion
    • Share what is on your mind. Come here to be inspired or challenged or to simply ask a question.
  • Ask the State of Hope Community
    • This space is for checking with SoH members to see if they can provide assistance with your questions, connect you to resources or possibly share information about similar work your programs are providing to children and families.
  • Chats
    • Various chat opportunities will be available here. Currently we ask you to introduce yourself as a new member joining this site.

Resources

The resource tab will link you to videos, documents, and discussions, as well as State of Hope application information, "Big Ideas" training materials and Division of Family and Children Services C3 Coordinators who provide support to providers serving families.

Communities

You can deepen your knowledge and learn from others as well as contribute to discussions focused on a key area of your work. The communities are focused on the four pillars of the SoH program, education, economic self-sufficiency, quality caregiving, and trauma awareness. Click each category to learn more about each group. The community subgroups are an opportunity to participate with other individuals who are working on similar programs. It provides the platform to dialogue and problem solve, request information, share information on what is and is not working, share assets, coordinate and strategize, and plan visits with each other.

Calendar

Being a member of this site has its benefits. You have access to learning opportunities that can benefit you, your team, and your program. Take advantage of the learning opportunities by clicking on the calendar tab to view upcoming events and register.

Member Directory

Connect with others over something you share by visiting our member directory. You can search for others with similar interests or experiences, and reach out in a private message to say hello. Many SoH site members are doing similar work and can be a resource for each other.
